To bill insurance, please keep in mind that Mountainview Healing, LLC will need to provide a diagnosis to your insurance company.  Some insurance companies have limitations on types of sessions, length of sessions, and amount of sessions approved.  Regardless, if you see your insurance listed below, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to determine if the requested services are covered under Dr. Michelle Matzke.

Self-Pay Options

Mountainview Healing does offer Self-Pay as an option for therapy and assessment services.  This is often an option for clients that do not have insurance benefits or their plan does not cover a service.  Please contact Mountainview Healing, LLC at michelle@mountainviewhealing.com to discuss this fee schedule.

Out of Network Insurance

Mountainview Healing, LLC does not provide courtesy billing. However, we can provide you with a superbill of your sessions to permit you to submit these to your insurance company for your reimbursement.  

**For out of network services, payment is due on the date of service to your provider.

Cancellation Fees

Mountainview Healing, LLC values the time spent with clients.  Since that spot is reserved for you, cancellations that do not provide 24 hours of notice will be charged a $175.00 fee.  Please note that insurance companies only provide payment for services rendered, so this fee is not able to charged to an insurance company.  

Common Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider

  1. Do I have a deductible?  How close am I to meeting that deductible?  When does my deductible start over?

  2. What is my copay for Mental Health/Behavioral Health services?  Is it different depending on the license type of the provider (i.e. psychologist, psychiatrist, social worker, mental health counselor, etc.)?

  3. What are my out of network benefits? Does this change the deductible or co-payment?

  4. Do I need a referral from my doctor to see a therapist?  Do I need a referral from my “passport provider” to begin therapy or psychological testing?

  5. Do I need “pre-certification” to begin therapy services or a psychological evaluation?
